The ADVANCE_LAB_00 Project: Update

Hello everyone, this is a short post for me to talk about the ADVANCE_LAB_00 project, to express my doubts and make public some "behind the scenes" work and ideas.

1.0 YOUTUBE AND BLOGGER

YouTube is the main center of my content, and, if things go as planned, it's not going to change. I still haven't started working on the first real video of the channel, but the related Blogger article is almost done. That's what I thought until a couple of days ago when a new YouTube video was released, and since my own Blogger article and related video are based on certain YouTube videos, I will need to integrate this newly released video as well.
Other than that, I am going to disappear for the next couple of months, since University requires me to lock in and study very hard (plus another couple of things to do). This means that potentially I will have to integrate even more videos into my own Blogger article and YouTube video. So, it's gonna take even more time.

That said, I tried to introduce on both YouTube and Blogger another type of content which was the GBA Sway configuration. The numbers are low, but it's ok because I picked a niche topic. I just hope someone will watch the videos and/or read the related Blogger posts and find those interesting, at least. But it's also ok if it doesn't happen. I am honestly just happy to have brought a new kind of content on both the platforms. However, it's very unlikely that new GBA-Linux content will be released soon, if not "at all".

Finally, as you can read on my latest post on YouTube, despite leaving for two months, new content will still be published on YouTube (and Instagram/Twitter/Bluesky), but not Blogger.

2.0 STREAMING

The idea of streaming, if it's ever happening, is to stream on Twitch Pokémon Emerald directly from my GBA SP.
It's a 100% completion playthrough with some very cool things in the middle which I am planning. It's going to be extremely slow, but also quite epic.
I wanted to start as soon as possible, but of course there's no way for me to start in these two months, and I find it quite hard to consider July, August, and September like probable months as well. I'll try to do my best, but honestly I'm very very busy.

The main problem here is that streaming from the GBA SP without spending money on a GameCube setup is not easy, so I was trying to work on some cool setup ideas for the streaming. I haven't figured everything out, but at least I understood how to use my phone camera to record.
But... the issue is that lately for some reason my phone camera started acting up, so like (huh!) there's another issue to solve...

3.0 OTHER THINGS

I'm planning some other content too. Without going too much into detail, and considering that all of this is purely hypothetical and could also never happen, I was brainstorming 2 new projects.
The first one involves Pokémon cards, while the second one is a small GBA game.
As I said on my Introduction post , I am currently not an expert in GBA games development, nor in music composing nor in pixel art. But I enjoy learning and putting myself into a challenge. I'd like to find enough time to work on both of those projects because I think they would help me grow on all of those skills.

About music and pixel art, I tried to find some spots of free time in these two months of intense studying to work on both. I am very unsure I'll be able to actually find some free time for those things, but if it were the case, I wouldn't mind keeping to post my updates on this Blog and on the other Socials (especially if I continue working on the GBA music inspired ringtone for my smartphone)!
